Phansidewa, 14th September: The body of a youth was recovered from a sewer of Motidhar-Bijalmoni tea garden in the Bidhannagar area of Phansidewa block. The deceased has been identified as Vijay Ghosh (27).
According to local sources, Ghosh used to work in a hotel. The garden workers spotted his body inside the sewer this morning and informed the police.
Later, the Bidhannagar outpost police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for autopsy. Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
