Siliguri, 21st August: A car overturned after allegedly losing its brakes on Sevoke Road near the Army camp in Salugara, Siliguri, on Friday. No injuries were reported in the accident.
According to information, three people were travelling in the car from Siliguri towards Sevoke Road when the vehicle’s brakes allegedly failed suddenly.
A speed breaker reportedly came up ahead, following which the driver tried to control the car. However, due to the vehicle’s speed, it allegedly went out of control and overturned.
All three occupants were reportedly safe after the accident. The incident briefly created panic at the spot.
