Kharibari, 19th September: In a tragic incident, a young man lost his life after falling from the roof of his house in Howdabhata area of Kharibari. The deceased has been identified as Rahul Roy (26).
As per reports, late on Monday night, the family members of the youth suddenly heard a loud sound. Subsequently, as they came out to ascertain the reason, they spotted Rahul lying on the road in a blood-soaked condition. Immediately, the severely injured youth was rescued and rushed to Kharibari Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. The following day, the deceased’s body was sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination.
Meanwhile, the family of the deceased filed a written complaint at the Kharibari police station and urged for an investigation. At present, Kharibari police are engaged in investigating the entire incident.
