Siliguri, 07th January: Based on a tip-off, a team of Pradhan Nagar Police Station arrested a youth with 38 bottles of banned cough syrup. The accused youth has been identified as Sanjit Kamati (32), a resident of Kulipara Rajendra Nagar.
According to police sources, the accused was nabbed at the SNT bus stand area last night, when he had come to sell the drugs. A case under the NDPS Act has been filed against Kamati. He was presented in the Siliguri Court on Friday.
