Siliguri, 06th February: A youth identified as Manmohan Barman was arrested for stealing from the Mayadevi club. Reportedly, the theft took place on February 02, after which an FIR was registered in the Matigara Police Station.
The police engaged in the investigation, arrested the youth on Saturday, and recovered a television from the stolen items. Today the accused was presented before the court and was sent to police custody for 7 days for further investigation.
According to the information, the accused has been involved in anti-social activities in the past too. The police are investigating the entire incident.
