Rajganj, 23rd July: Two young boys sustained serious injuries this morning after their cycle was hit by a car along at Fulbari-Ambari canal road in Fulbari’s Laxmijote area.
The brothers, identified as Jai Roy (12) and Dweep Roy (10), were returning from tuition on a bicycle when a small four-wheeler hit them from behind. After the incident, the injured were rescued and admitted to a private hospital in Fulbari.
Meanwhile, the car allegedly tried to run from the spot, however, the locals chased the vehicle and nabbed the accused. On the other hand, Jalpaiguri police reached the spot and took the driver into custody.
