World Anti-Human Trafficking Day celebrated in Siliguri

Siliguri, 30th July: Awareness rally regarding World Human Trafficking Day was taken out in Siliguri today, under the aegis of Siliguri Women Police Station and in collaboration with many voluntary organizations including World Vision, SINI, Gurukul. 


Human trafficking is the biggest problem not only in India but all over the world. While the administration is working continuously to stop the crime, the rally was held to raise awareness among the general public. Small children held placards and marched in various routes of Siliguri. Apart from the young participants, members of various voluntary organizations and Siliguri Women Police Station IC Mumtaz Begum were present.
