Phansidewa, 20th May: Sensation prevailed after a mutilated body of a woman was recovered on the railway tracks in the Nijbari area of Phansidewa.
The deceased has been identified as Pragati Karmakar, resident of Phansidewa Dhamnagach.
Reportedly the residents saw the mutilated body of the said woman on the railway line in the Nijbari area of Phansidewa.
As soon as the news of the incident was received, the Phansidewa Police and Railway Police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem. Police are probing the entire incident.
