Cooch Behar, 08th July: An atmosphere of chaos erupted in Cooch Behar’s Dinhata after a woman who had received Covaxin shot for the first dose, was allegedly given Covishield on her second visit.
Reportedly, Jaya Narayan Roy went to Dinhata Sub-Divisional Hospital to take the second dose of the vaccine. She alleged that after reaching the hospital, she found there were two queues. After asking the volunteers, she stood in the queue where Covaxin was being given. However, after being vaccinated, she was shocked to know that she was given Covishield instead of Covaxin. Following which, she burst out in anger and warned of taking legal steps against the hospital.
On the other hand, the assistant superintendent of the hospital said that the matter will be investigated after a written complaint is received.
