Bagdogra, 11th January: Sensation prevailed after the body of a woman was found hanging from a noose in the Lala Basti area of Jyotinagar in Bagdogra. The deceased has been identified as Kajal Thakur (21).
According to family sources, Kajal tied the knot with Munna Thakur 4 years ago. They also have a son. The family members assumed that the incident occurred due to family disputes.
The body was recovered and sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for autopsy. Police are investigating the whole incident.
