Siliguri, 21st September: In a shocking turn of events, a woman deceived her friends worth crore of rupees in Siliguri’s Bagdogra. Following this, the victims reported the matter to the police.
As per reports, the woman, claimed to be wife of an army personnel, befriended with other women, allegedly also spouses of individuals associated with the army. Subsequently, as their friendship attained depth she deceived them.
Speaking in this regard, the duped women stated that the fraud woman borrowed money on pretext of constructing a new house and open a shop. They added that she promised to return the amount within few day and they adhered to her claim. However, she fled with the borrowed money.
On Thursday, a formal complaint was filed against the woman at Bagdogra police station. Based on the complaint, the cops of Bagdogra police station initiated a detailed investigation of the entire incident.
