Siliguri, 25th February: A woman committed suicide by jumping into the Teesta river in Sevoke. Meanwhile, upon receiving the information about the incident, the Sevoke Police reached the spot and recovered the body.
Though the deceased has not been identified yet, the Police have primarily assumed that the woman is Narayani Pal, a resident of Haidar Para, Siliguri.
It was reported that Narayani Pal, a mentally disabled woman, had been missing since today morning.
The Police are further investigating the incident.
