Siliguri, 08th August: The Winners Club in Siliguri has commenced preparations for this year’s Durga Puja with the traditional ‘Khutti Puja’ ceremony. This year marks the 49th edition of their celebration.
With only a few weeks left for Bengal’s biggest festival, Durga Puja preparations are in full swing across the region. The Winners Club also marked the start of their festivities on Friday through ‘Khutti Puja’.
The chosen theme for this year is “Palli Durga,” aimed at showcasing the essence of rural Bengal. Organisers expressed their hope that, as in previous years, their Puja pandal will once again captivate the attention of city residents.
