Wildlife carcass recovered in Dima Tea Garden, Alipurduar

Alipurduar, 16th February: The Forest Department recovered the carcass of an unknown wildlife species from the Dima Tea Garden in the Kalchini block of Alipurduar district, on Sunday morning.


As per the report, the tea garden workers sighted the body and immediately informed the forest department. The forest officials of the Nimti Range reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it for an autopsy in Rajabhatkhawa.

According to the Forest Department, the wild animal probably belongs to the cat species.
