Kharibari, 27th November: Sensation surfaced in the area of Khal Line of Fulbari tea garden in Kharibari after the wife fled leaving behind her dead husband’s body.
The deceased has been identified as Shankar Baiga (25). Reportedly, on Sunday morning, people found the dead body of Shankar Baiga inside his house. After this, they informed the police. The Kharibari police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it for postmortem to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital.
The residents told that the wife of the deceased had a relationship with a friend of the husband and suspect that the wife killed her husband and eloped with his friend. The Kharibari police are probing the entire incident.
