Rajganj 21th May: Sensation prevailed in the area of West Dhantala of Fulbari Gram Panchayat- 02 when a youth died in a road accident, while another was seriously injured. The deceased has been identified as Ajay Sarkar (21) and the injured youth as Saurabh Chaudhary (21).
As per the report, on Friday night, many people had gone to the crematorium at Sahudangi for the funeral of a person from West Dhantala area. After the ceremony, at around midnight, both the youths were returning home on a scooter when they suddenly crashed near Ghora More. They were rescued and taken to a hospital near Fulbari. The doctors declared Ajay Sarkar was brought dead while Saurabh Chaudhary was referred to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for treatment considering his critical condition. The NJP police reached the spot and investigated the whole matter.
Upon receiving the news, MLA of the Dabgram Fulbari Assembly constituency, BJP leader Shikha Chatterjee reached the deceased’s house this morning. While talking to his family, the MLA assured them of all possible help.
