Siliguri, 13th November: On the occasion of National Children’s Day, West Bengal Voluntary Health Association is organizing a two-day free eye check-up camp, conference and a quiz competition on 13th and 14th November.
The event is being held in collaboration with The Himalayan Eye Institute and Kharibari Peace Club at Gondogol Jote Shishu Shiksha Kendra, Kharibari. While people from 8 to 80 years old got their eyes checked in the said camp today, the quiz competition and meeting will be held on Sunday.
In this regard, Tarun Maiti, Project Officer, West Bengal Voluntary Health Association said that the camp has been organized on the occasion of Children’s Day and World Diabetes Day, aiming to survey the physical condition of children and elderlies during the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic.
