West Bengal Private Tutors’ Welfare Association submitted a memorandum to District Inspector of Schools

Siliguri, 18th May: The members of West Bengal Private Tutors’ Welfare Association, on Wednesday, submitted a memorandum to Rajib Pramanik the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education) Siliguri.
The delegations alleged that private tuitions are being given by a large number of government teachers or government aided school teachers which is prohibited and should be banned for the betterment of the students. In the memorandum, the members demanded every school authority to ensure that no teacher working in the school shall provide private tuition; if so, necessary actions will be taken against them.
West Bengal Private Tutors’ Welfare Association State Secretary Vivekananda Saha demanded the District Inspector of Schools take action on the matter at the earliest.
