Siliguri, 01st February: Like every year, the Ward Utsav “Navchetna” commenced in the Ward No. 5 under the Siliguri Municipal Corporation, this year as well. A procession was also organized on this occasion.
The programme was inaugurated by the State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb and the Ward Councillor Durga Singh. Various sports competitions and cultural programs have been organized in the Ward Utsav. The Ward Utsav will continue until February 5.
