Siliguri, 30th April: In light of the COVID-19 lockdown, the Siliguri Ward No. 46 Trinamool Mahila Congress Committee, on Thursday, handed over food items to the patients of the Darjeeling More Leprosy Ashram.
Siliguri assembly constituency President Sushmita Bose Mitra, Trinamool Mahila Congress President Mallika Debnath, and other committee members were present during the programme.
Sushmita Bose stated that food items were distributed among 107 needy people in the leprosy ashram. She further stated that they will also feed the poor families of Ward No. 28 on Friday.
