Ward No. 46 TMC candidate Dilip Barman initiates sanitization camp in the neighbourhood

Siliguri, 23rd January: West Bengal State Election Commission decided to postpone elections to four municipal corporations in the state, namely Siliguri Municipal Corporation, Chander Nagar Municipal Corporation, Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation and Asansol Municipal Corporation, considering the prevalent COVID-19 pandemic situation in the state. The polls of municipal corporations were earlier scheduled on January 22, however, will now be held on February 12.


Meanwhile, the candidates of all parties are being spotted wooing voters by conducting sanitization drives in the neighbourhood. Likewise, on Sunday, Trinamool Congress candidate Dilip Barman of Ward No. 46 was seen sanitizing the ward. Also, he sanitized the Nivedita Market in Champasari.


“Elections will come and go, but people’s lives are very important,” Barman added.
