Kharibari, 08th October: Deaths among children due to a mysterious viral fever is increasing at an alarming rate all across the state. In this context, a six-member team of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Kharibari-Buraganj Mandal Mahila Morcha handed over a memorandum to the block health officer at Kharibari Rural Hospital, on Friday.
In this regard, Kharibari-Buraganj BJP Mandal President Kalyan Prasad said that for a long time, the block hospital does not have any paediatrician. Demand for a separate pediatric ward and availability of medicines were presented through the memo.
Apart from Kalyan Kumar Prasad, Vice President Arun Das, Santosh Jaiswal, Yuva Morcha President Tarun Sinha, Mahila Morcha President Sulta Sarkar, Vice President Anjala Baroi and others were present.
