Vidya Bharati Uttar Banga organises ‘Kriti Vidyarthi Medha Samman 2026’, felicitates meritorious Madhyamik exminees

Siliguri, 24th May: Vidya Bharati Uttar Banga organised ‘Kriti Vidyarthi Medha Samman 2026’ ceremony to felicitate high-performing students of the Madhyamik examination.

The organisation reported that out of 492 students from nine institutions under its management, 487 successfully cleared the examination. Among them, 43 students secured more than 95 percent marks, reflecting strong academic performance. One student also earned a place among the state’s top ten rank holders.

Students from other Bengali-medium schools were also included among the achievers. Notably, Avirup Bhadra brought recognition to his school and to North Bengal by securing the first position in the state.

In addition, six meritorious students from CBSE Class 10 and 12 were also felicitated during the event.

The ceremony was attended by Union Minister of State for Education Sukanta Majumdar, Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh, Matigara-Naxalbari MLA Anandamay Barman, the Inspector of Schools for Darjeeling district, and Vidya Bharati Eastern Region Executive Member Dibakar Ghosh, among others.
