Siliguri, 05th August: Ashighar Traffic Guard conducted a road safety awareness programme in Siliguri as part of Road Safety Week. A special drive was organised at Dhakeshwari More on Eastern Bypass on Tuesday with members of a social organisation.
The main objective of the initiative was to spread awareness among the public about traffic rules and road safety measures. During the programme, drivers riding without helmets and four-wheeler drivers not wearing seat belts were presented with roses and urged to follow traffic rules.
The drivers were also given messages on the importance of following traffic regulations to ensure road safety.
The programme was attended by ACP Traffic Chandan Das, Ashighar Traffic Guard OC Tanay Sarkar, and other police personnel.
