Jalpaiguri, 03rd October: Academic classes will commence in Jalpaiguri Government Medical College and Hospital with 100 students in the academic year 2022-23.
Suhrita Paul, the vice-chancellor of West Bengal University of Health Sciences, said this after inspecting the infrastructure of Jalpaiguri Government Medical College and holding a meeting with health department officials on Sunday.
The Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by OSD Dr. Susanta Roy, District CMOH Ramendranath Pramanik, Superintendent of Sadar Hospital Gayaram Naskar, and other officials.
Suhrita Paul stated that a lot of money has been allocated in this pandemic situation to build Jalpaiguri Medical College.
