Siliguri, 17th August: Sensation prevailed after several people lost their lives in a major accident in Kurseong. However, only 3 bodies have been recovered so far.
According to the information, on August 15, five people, including four residents of Rathkhola and another from Siliguri took off to Lataguri. They then allegedly headed towards Kurseong that very evening.
A missing diary was filed at the Siliguri police station, last night, after their family members were unable to communicate with them.
It was later discovered that the vehicle on which the 5 friends were travelling in, fell off a cliff near Kurseong. The bodies of two people, identified as Bikram Das and Rishav Das were recovered yesterday. Another body was recovered today.
The incident has caused a stir in the entire area.
