Siliguri, 11th December: On behalf of a voluntary organization Uttarer Dishari, saplings were planted in a vacant park in the city’s Ward No. 12 adjoining the Kanchenjunga Stadium. The organization aims to plant saplings at different places in all 47 wards of Siliguri.
Nantu Pal, former councillor of Ward No. 12 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation was also present on this occasion. He said that the park has been lying vacant for a long time. Hence, saplings were planted on behalf of the organization to revive the park once again.
