Siliguri, 12th January: Uttarbanga Thalassemia O Biklang (Pratibandhi) Seba Sangstha commemorated the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
In obedience to the covid protocols, the event was celebrated in a simple manner. The committee paid their respect by laying a wreath and garlanding Vivekananda’s statue. The members also distributed masks, sanitizers, and blankets to the needy.
During the occasion, Dr Sirshendu Paul, Ashok Chakraborty, Bimal Banik, and others were present.
