Rajganj, 24th May: ‘Utsarg’ blood donation camp was organized by Milanpally outpost police of Siliguri Metropolitan Police, under the instruction of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, with the aim to tackle the shortage of blood in blood banks. Along with the police personnel, common people also participated in this camp.
The target was to collect about 50 units of blood. During this, former ACP of Siliguri Metropolitan Police Shubhendra Kumar, OC Sajal Rai of Milanpally outpost, Mantadari Gram Panchayat Pradhan Deepak Biswas and other police officers were present.
