Unnatural death of Mathabhanga Girls High School’s teacher causes stir in Mathabhanga 

Cooch Behar, 21st December: A case of unnatural death of a school teacher has come to the fore from Sutunga River adjacent to Ward No. 9 of Mathabhanga. 


 

Reportedly, a dead body was found in the Sutunga River by the locals on Wednesday morning. After this, they informed the Mathabhanga police station. The deceased has been identified as Anjali Roy, a teacher at the Mathabhaga Girls High School. On the other hand, as soon as the news was received, the family members of the deceased and the headmistress of the school reached the spot. However, the circumstances of her death have not been ascertained yet. 


 

The headmistress of the school told that this morning the teacher left the school after keeping her bag and signing out. After this, they received the news of her body being recovered from the river. The headmistress said that the teacher was mentally unsound of mind and used to cry sometimes in school. The police have started investigating the entire incident.
