Kharibari, 23rd July: Sensation prevailed in the area after the body of an unidentified elderly man was found at the Indo-Nepal border Panitanki bus stand of Kharibari. The locals spotted the body this morning and informed the police.
Reportedly, Panitanki police reached the spot and took the body in their possession and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for postmortem.
Local resident Kumar Chhetri said that the elderly was seen wandering in the area for two-three days. However, the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained till the time of reporting.
