Jalpaiguri, 06th July: Sensation gripped the area of Bajitpara near Paharpur when an unidentified body of a man with his hands and legs tied was recovered. Locals spotted the body lying under a culvert in the said area.
Upon being notified, police reached the spot, took the body into possession, and sent it for post-mortem. As per initial investigation, police have presumed that the case might be a planned murder. The identity of the person was not ascertained till the time of reporting.
