Gajoldoba, 7th October: A decomposed body of an unidentified individual was recovered from the area adjacent to Teesta barrage in Gajoldoba.
As per reports, on Saturday, the locals spotted the dead body in the Marapur Teesta embankment area near Gajoldoba. Upon receiving the news, Milan Pally Outpost police arrived at the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination. However, at the time of the report, the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained. At present, the police are engaged in further investigation.
