Siliguri, 12th August: Sensation prevailed in the area following the discovery of an unidentified individual’s body in the Mahananda River, situated in the Tulsi Nagar region of Matigara Gram Panchayat, adjacent to the Jhankar More of Siliguri.
Reportedly, today, a group of local teenagers were bathing in the river when they stumbled upon the lifeless body. The matter was promptly reported to the Matigara police, who arrived at the scene and retrieved the deceased individual’s body from the river. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
