Siliguri, 20th March: Sensation prevailed after the body of an unidentified person was recovered at the Fulbari Mahananda Barrage, on Saturday.
As per the report, the locals sighted the body floating in Fulbari Mahananda Barrage, this afternoon and reported the matter to the police.
Upon receiving the news, the NJP and Phansidewa police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for autopsy. The identity of the deceased has not been known yet. Police are investigating the whole incident.
