Malda, 22nd August: The body of an unidentified person was recovered in Bangal Chak village under Manikchak police station of Malda.
According to sources, on Friday evening, the locals spotted the body floating in the Kalindi River near the area. They immediately informed the police regarding the issue.
As soon as the news was received, the police arrived on the spot and recovered the body. According to police sources, the body has not been identified. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
