Cooch Behar, 09th June: A laborer died while several other workers were injured when an under-construction building of a private school collapsed in Kakribari area under Cooch Behar block-2. Allegedly, the school management fled from the spot after the incident. This angered the locals more.
On the other hand, firefighters and police reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. Civil defense personnel carried out rescue work. Apart from this, administrative officials also reached to take stock of the spot.
