Cooch Behar, 09th June: Sensation prevailed after the body of a home tutor was found hanging from a mango tree in Ward No. 11 of Mathabhanga.
The deceased has been identified as Sujit Saha. According to his brother Subal Saha, Sujit’s number of pupils drastically dropped during the lockdown. With no other source of income and as no one was hiring him, Sujit was under severe mental stress and anxiety.
Mathabhanga police reached the spot and recovered Sujit’s body, and sent it for post-mortem. Police are probing the incident.
