Two youths return home after completing 14-day quarantine in Sukhia Maneybhanjang

Sukhia Pokhri, 11th June: Ramesh Mukhia and Ratan Mukhia, residents of Rangbhang Mukhia village under the Sukhia Maneybhanjang region, returned home after completing the mandatory 14-day quarantine.


According to Zonal President Buddha Tamang and Siwani Tamang of the area’s Help Desk, the two youths, who were stranded in Cooch Behar due to the lockdown, had returned to their village on May 28 with the help of GTA. As measures for a proper quarantine facility could not be managed in their house, the Mukhia Gaon (village) Srijanshil Yuva Sangh, a local resident Mohan Mukhia and Uday Mukhia stepped forward to help the youths.

A quarantine room was prepared in the Community Hall of the village for Ramesh and Ratan to complete their 14-day mandatory quarantine. The ANM of the local Rangbhang Health Center informed that the youths returned home, today after completing their 14-day quarantine.
