Cooch Behar, 04th April: Sensation prevailed after two women were injured in a bison attack. The incident has surfaced from the Railgate area of Ghoksadanga Gram Panchayat under Mathabhanga 2.
As per the local sources, today the locals spotted the said bison in a cornfield in the area. After this, the bison entered a residence in the area. Due to this, two women got injured during the attack. Later the family members rescued them and took them to the hospital.
On the other hand, after getting information about the incident, Ghoksadanga Police and Forest Department personnel reached the spot. However, the forest department is trying to rescue the bison.
