Tufanganj, 11th September: Two students of Tufanganj NNM High School have been detained on the charge of indulging in alcohol inside the school premises.
The school teachers alleged that such activities are being carried out for the past several days as the schools have been shut down in view of the ongoing pandemic.
While the incident was also reported to the police several times, the said students repeatedly kept threatening the school teachers.
The Tufanganj Sadar SDO launched operations at the school premises on Friday. While two students were detained along with liquor bottles, the others managed to escape the scene. The incident has created a stir in the entire city.
