Two rhinos from Jaldapara National Park wander into the verandah of a house

Alipurduar, 12th January: Two rhinos entered the Kodal Basti area enclosed in Jaldapara National Park.
According to sources, Shyamal Rabha, a resident of the area, was shocked after he found the unusual guests standing in his verandah.
Immediately, the forest personnel of the Kodal Basti range was informed, who rushed to the spot and successfully drove the rhinos back towards the forest with the help of firecrackers. In this regard, DFO of the Jaldapara Forest Department, Kumar Vimal said that there is a residential area next to the forest, hence the wild animals tend to enter the area. However, he assured being alert concerning such incidents.
