Siliguri, 29th January: The Matigara police arrested two drug peddlers with brown sugar and cash from the Kharapal More area. The arrested have been identified as Smile Haque and Mohammad Kaushar, residents of Malda and Matigara respectively.
According to Matigara police, the officers campaigned in plain dress based on a tip-off and nabbed Mohammad Kaushar along with Smile Haque. 950 grams of brown sugar and four lakh rupees in cash were recovered their possession. Both the peddlers were produced in Siliguri court today.
