Fulbari, 27th June: Two people sustained minor injuries after a car overturned into a roadside drain in the Chaturagach area under Fulbari-II Gram Panchayat on Saturday.
According to local sources, the vehicle was travelling from NJP towards Teesta Canal Road in Fulbari when the driver reportedly lost control upon reaching Chaturagach. The vehicle veered off the road and overturned into a roadside drain, causing significant damage.
There were four passengers on board at the time of the accident. Two of them suffered minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital, where they received first aid.
Following the incident, police personnel from the Canal Road Traffic Outpost and New Jalpaiguri Police Station reached the spot. The damaged vehicle was recovered, and an investigation has been initiated to determine the cause of the accident.
