Cooch Behar, 19th December: In a significant breakthrough, the cops of Kotwali police station in Cooch Behar successfully apprehended two individuals, including a police constable with drugs. The arrested accused have been identified as Sheikh Ajijul and Sheikh Shahbaz, both residents of an area under the jurisdiction of Ratua police station in Malda.
Reportedly, acting on a tip-off, the special team of Kotwali police station launched an operation and arrested the two individuals. According to police sources, Ajijul currently works as a constable in the Cooch Behar crime branch.
Following the arrest huge quantity of banned substances were recovered. On Tuesday, the accused were produced before Cooch Behar Court. Currently, the case is under further police investigation.
