Siliguri, 22nd July: Two friends, Manisha Goala and Shampa Roy, residents of Michael Madhusudan Colony, have allegedly been missing since July 15.
While the former’s family rushed to the NJP police station in search for their daughter, no complaint has been lodged on behalf of the latter’s family.
Since no information has been received regarding their whereabouts even after seven days, Manisha’s family members once again visited the police station today seeking help.
Her family demanded the police to locate their daughter as soon as possible. According to them, her marriage has been fixed for next December. They believe both friends have run away deliberately.
