Two Bangladeshis arrested in Raninagar for entering India illegally

Siliguri, 09th December: Two Bangladeshis have been arrested for entering India illegally. The arrested accused have been identified as Mohammad Mamud and Midul Mian.


It has been learned that the two were travelling from Bamanhat to Kolkata via NJP on Uttar Banga Express. Upon suspicion, the railway workers inside the train questioned the two at Raninagar and were immediately handed over to the NJP GRP.

During the initial investigation, the GRP police learned that the duo had entered India by making fake Aadhaar cards. Upon questioning, they failed to present their visa or any other valid documents. The police have started an investigation into the reason for which they entered India.
