Siliguri, 28th June: Illegal liquor trade has been going on under the guise of hotels in Siliguri. Upon receiving several reports, the undercover police of the NJP police station arrested two people by campaigning at two different places.
The police arrested accused Shyam Sundar Kamati from NJP station and Krishna Mohan Roy from Madani Bazar. Along with this, country spirits and liquor were recovered from their possession. The accused were produced in the Jalpaiguri court today.
