Siliguri, 28th August: A team of Phansidewa Police and Kolkata’s Special Task Force (STF) arrested two accused with a substantial amount of illegal drugs and cash worth crores on the basis of intelligence.
According to the information, the peddlers were arrested by Kolkata STF from the said area with the help of Phansidewa police. 2.101 kg heroin has been seized from the arrested accused. The market value of which is estimated to be around Rs 1.4 crore. Furthermore, Rs 19,01,500 cash has also been seized from the accused. Interrogation of the arrested accused is underway.
