Siliguri, 15th July: The undercover cops of Siliguri police station arrested two people with banned cough syrup in Siliguri. The accused have been identified as Deepak Poddar a resident of Santoshi Nagar and Anoop Sahni from Maharaja Colony in Ward No. 04.
Reportedly, the police apprehended two bike-borne youths behind Hindi High School based on suspicioun. Upon searching, 50 bottles of banned cough syrup were recovered from their bags and the duo was immediately taken into custody. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against them and were presented in the Siliguri court today.
